What is Virtual Organizing?

Virtual Organizing is when you and a Professional Organizer work together via your smartphone, tablet, or computer to create and implement solutions to your organizing challenges.

In it’s simplest terms…

YOU + ME + email/phone/video/photos + hard work + fun = Virtual Organizing Success

Yes—you read that right—fun. Organizing can be fun. There’s also that ‘hard work’ part. Let’s not gloss over that. Organizing can be physically and emotionally taxing at times. We’ll recognize it and work through it together.

All organizing supplies related to the project are discussed and purchased in advance by client.

*The number of hours needed depends upon the size and scope of the project, how easily the client can make decisions, and the amount of hands-on organizing/homework that can be completed between sessions.


VIRTUAL ORGANIZING OFFICE HOURS

Office hours: Monday – Friday from 9am-2pm
Client session hours: Monday – Friday from 9am-2pm and 7:30pm-9:30pm EST
Needs Assessment: FaceTime or Zoom appointments can be made during office hours or most evenings between 7:30pm and 9:30pm EST.


THE PROCESS…

  1. Fill out the Organized Artistry Contact Us form.
  2. I will email you back.
  3. Via a 15-minute discovery phone call, you and I will determine if Organized Artistry can assist you using Virtual Organizing services.
  4. If you and I feel that Organized Artistry can be of assistance, a no-cost/no-obligation half hour Needs Assessment via FaceTime or Zoom will be scheduled to discuss your organizing needs. I may ask you to snail mail or email me pictures of the areas to be organized before the Needs Assessment.
  5. I ‘meet’ you, you ‘meet’ me during the Needs Assessment (via FaceTime or Zoom), you talk and give me a ‘tour’ of your organizing challenges. There will be some chit chat, discussion of your vision for the space, your budget, etc. I’ll do most of the listening.
  6. If you choose to use Organized Artistry’s Virtual Organizing services, a service agreement is signed by both parties and we schedule our first video virtual organizing appointment.
  7. Virtual Organizing begins. I usually bring garbage bags to a session—please grab some from your kitchen instead!
  8. In between sessions, homework assignments and email support will be offered.
